warn winch motor brushes

Anyone know of a place to order a set of motor brushes for a warn 2.5 atv winch online. I'm bussy with work for the next couple of weeks and it would just be easier to order a set online than to drop the winch off at a starter shop. Even parts number for interchangeable brushes would work. I did a search and could not find anything specific. thanks.

While that idea did cross my mind I just wanted to see if someone with some "experience" had a different source that could save me some money. Thank you for your input.

If there's a n automotive electrical shop near you (starter/alternator rebuilding shop) then they can hook you up with a set of brushes.  You'll need two sets and you'll have parts left over.  I don't know what retail is as I do a large volume of business with the starter shop here, but it's got to be half or less of what Warn wants for the end cap.   If you're really into fixing it up...  Take them the whole motor end and let them clean the commutator up too.  Certainly not a free service, but the motor it's self will essentially be new after that.  They probabaly have great facilities and remarkably similar experience to work on the gear train as well, but it's not their thing and they may or may not be interrested in that aspect of it, depending on how busy they are with the items they are in the business of working on.

I think I'm going to go that route Jake. The motor is in great shape because it got little use.I had the old sun dial style switch on it that never worked right so I never used it. I bought a promark microswitch kit and twisted the brush wire off the winch motor connection when I was rewiring it. I just need to swap them out and reseal the winch and I'll be back in business.
