"adult" stores have them. slang term is whipetts just don't ask for that when you go in ask for whip cream chargers.

I finally got my inflator and 16 gram n2o in today by fedex. Went to the local Napa and got the parts. I did not put the air needle on the pump. I hooked the pump strait to the hose. This is on my artic cat prowler it has the 650 H1 engine in it. I need some speed test with it and rpm test stock. Since I put the 30" mudlight on it, it took some top end power away and thats what I was hoping to get back. I was topping out around 48 mph with the setup at 3/4 mile, I then ran the n2o and tap the trigger every two secs for 2 sec burst and at 1/2 mile I was at 53 so a pretty big gain out of this little setup. I ran a max of 62 at 1 mile, which is 9 miles an hour over stock with one charger of n2o. It definatly woke this machine up. My brother and I went riding at our little **** whole we call it. I ran the hole which is about two feet deep with water and some deeper spots close to three feet. The run is about 40 or so yards. i ran the hole twice without the n2o and the first run was 38 sec and the sec 41 sec. Then now with the n2o at same distance was 32 sec, I could diffenatly tell when I hit the trigger the tires span alot faster, nothing like the fast and furious but it was very noticable. We ran it on own by brothers 650 rincon and was about the same reasults. I just ordered him the same set up for his bike.

so let me get this straight....you hooked the 'pump/trigger' to the hose and ran it into the air box......my question is what are you useing to 'atomize' the n2o.......?......i think i came up with a soloution...but want to here what you did....how long did each cartridge last....

You don't have to atomize the nitrous. It comes out as a gas, not a liquid so there's really nothing to atomize. Just spray it into the air box or your snorkel and that's all you have to do.

up till this point i was agreeing....but n2o needs to be atomized to spray correctly......I am getting an 'adjustable' n2o nozzle that will bolt right in my air intake and 'mist' straight down into carb.....will be much better burn....i have been checking on n2o sites and the experts seem to agree......

you could probably use the 8 gram cartitages if you were to put some kind of spacer in there so the inflator would peirce it

maybe the 8 grams would be best used for longer shots since there would be a less chance of harm to the engine than 16g

ok after a few test runs here we go.....2 to 3 shots out of one 16oz bottle....makes a noticable increase....nothing OMG big....but very noticable.....and this was on a motor with 6800 miles bone stock.....going to pipe the hose straight into the the tube between the filter and the carb with a 122 instead of the stock 118 jet....

man i just got done testing out this $30 nitrous setup yall have been talking about on my 680 rincon and it is pretty kick ****, i puched the throttle at about 20 mph then tapped the spray and it took off, i wasnt expecting it to work so well. i am going to upgrade the setup though whenever i have time to get it all hooked up. im going to put a zip tie around the trigger of the inflater to keep the trigger pulled and i got i solinoid valve that im going to put in the line so i can have the inflator hidden somewhere and have a button mounted on my handle bars to control the valve

propane is used on diasel engines as a power adder, this is a minin alcohol engine just like a go cart motor.
