Alright Ive got a theory but correct me if im wrong because i haven't had the chance to test it out yet
Since this setup will cause the bike to run lean a little bit wouldnt putting the choke on kind of balance out the effect by letting in more gas with about the same amount of air that way you dont have to completly rejet it just for a few seconds of nitrous.

I would think that would be overkill and run to rich, thuss lowering HP and stalling in the mud. maybe if you had a lever like a hot start to control the choke while steering and throttling and pushing the button. (sounds like the starting sequince on an older seadoo)[:-]

The choke DOESN'T allow more fuel in it restricts the amount of air, there for making it richer. In essence if you put the choke and give it nitrous you just wasted that shot and lost HP not gained.

A choke PLATE ristricts air but a choke plunger adds fuel. it has its own circuit and jet in most cases. most of us have the latter. Jet skis still use a plate as do most automotive carbs.

Worst that could happen is burning a hole through a piston.

I dump it into the air box before the filter, it mixes with the regular air and does great. Not as big of boost of N2o. Oxygen is not flamable, it just males what ever is burning, burn better.

Yah it is... like with an aecitalin (spelling) torch its the oxygen that burns so hot the aceitalin just helps it burn

I agree and disagree. I'm not good at science studies...but...I thought burning was a oxidizer (spell. check) mixing with a fuel and creating a product.(fire etc.) People say oxygen isn't flamable because it is already your oxidizer, if you input it as your fuel too it does nothing. On the other hand, as it has been stated, if pure oxygen touches something it dosen't like...It is highly flamable. No starter is required. Where i disagree is that i do not believe oxygen burns.
(there is a  difference between flamable and burning...i think)
I beleive that the fuel burns and oxygen just completes the reaction to form the product. Having the potential to cause that reaction without an outside energy source(a spark or w/e) gives it both characteristics at once....

I have no idea what i just said. [sm=lol.gif]
Any comments?

If your going to spray do it right the first time. ON fuel injected machines you could put a dry shot of nitrous on it.If it was me I would go woth the wet!!

As long as you are jetted properly, run premium gas (if you usually run 87 octane in your quad), and keep the shot small then you'll have no problems.  I have personally ran 10 cartridges through my Ozark.  It is only about a 2 hp shot, and as it is right now my Ozark only has about 15 hp so if anything, my little 250 cc motor should have problems before the larger bore machines.
