The legs of the spring seat go between these patitions and holds it form spining. But if the leg blocked the hole what would be the difference of the leg blocking it or never drilling a hole to start with? A stock bike runs fine with no hole it doesn't flood. The hole doesn't control gas, it controls vacuum . The extra hole is to help the slide open faster . So if you blocked the hole it would be like you never&amp;nbsp; drilled one.
