[:@] you can adjust the etc!!!![:D] just pop the cover off the throttle, there are two little metal contacts in there and they should be a popsicle stick apart, if they arent, that is yo problem!!! there is an adjustment on the throttle cable by the headlight pod, just adjust it until the contacts are that far apart!!!

have you done any mods to it, like an oiled air filter?

they should be a popsicle stick apart

That's the high tech, high dollar, Polaris diagnostic tools ypu pay for when you take it back to the dealer. [:D]

adam, are you running a K&N, Uni or other oiled filter?  one thing that can happen is that they suck in some oil and it gets on the throttle plate, causing it do drop in idle, depending on how long it is run, it can cut the idle down so far that it will barely idle, so it is important not to over-oil the filters....

since yours only has 10 miles on it, I'm assuming you have a stock filter, best to take it back to the dealer...

figured you would say that, since it is new, i'm assuming under warranty, let your dealer figure it out, will most likely something simple, but may require reflashing the computer or some other electrical problem....

[:D][:D] thats right dirtbmw!!!!! but you dont stick a popsiclestick in there, you just be sure they are about as far apart as the stick is thick!!!!!!!!!![;)]

LOL on the popsicle stick.   I just adjust the throttle cable freeplay and it works every time. Just note how much freeplay is at the throttle. tighten up the cable till you have little or now freeplay, start the machine in nuetral and trun the handlebars from side to side ,fully, note any change in idle rpm. If the rpms go up then losen the cable just slightly so that the rpms do not change when you turn the handlebars.

Also make sure the intake tract is clearer and free of ubstruction. I have seen the intake snorkle on new machines plugged with goofy things in the past and this was right out of the crate. I found a workers glove in one one time. Also found paper in another one and even the beginings of a mouse nest.
