i have been told by a few people that it is not worth the doe.  Several people have done it and went back with a diff. setup.  There is one setup i heard bout the the vfj went slower then stock stuff with diff. spings and weights.  That was on a pure drag rute.  So i had my cash ready to throw down and was talked out of it by my engine builder.  He is a well respected person in the brute world and he said is just wasnt worth the cash.  That just my 2 cents.

are you serious there is no way a stock clutch will out perform a vfj modded clutch no matter what you spring setup is especially someone who is drag racing he developed the modded clutch to gain mid-top end pull and that is what it does especially for people running big mud tires it takes most bikes and makes it pull 2-3x times harder from mid to top end and also usually gives your bike a 5-10mph gain on top end. took 3 bikes i know running 29.5's from 55mph top out with red secondary to a 63mph top out with red secondary and that was the only mod added if that shows you how much it adds to the performance.

Go with the VFJ mod if you have the cash well worth it

ive compared both on the same bike and everything about the vfj seems to be better imo. it engages smooth as can be and in low there is no comparison, u can very much feel the difference. ive seen the same bike struggle with 29s in real thick mud and it hardly even changed tunes of the engine after the vfj was installed. the way i see it is your gonna pay 200+- for a clutch kit and you can get a vfj for just over 3 i think and 20-25 for a secondary spring and have a much larger gain imo.  also you need to consider that if your sheaves are worn they will be just like new when he gets done

dunno about the v force john but Flynt told me not long ago that i NEED an aftermarket clutch to get what i am wanting out of my brute. i am not real sure why he would tell you different. Flynt knows his stuff so he was most likely telling you a different brand of clutch to go with?

I could not tell a big difference . Check with the guys at MIMB you can find out some cheap mods that you can do to your clutch at a very low cost. VFJ is a great guy he will call you and tell you if has to do any thing that may  cost extra. Ron the guy you built the green brute for told me he had 600.00 in his clutch.

Mine will just have springs and some lil personal mods nothing major.  And i X2 that everytime i talked to vforce john he was a great guy with alont of info and always quick to call back and have helpful info.  But i'm just like everyone else i don't wanna spend thatmoney to find out it wasnt worth it.  Id have to ride a bike just like mine to see and feel the diff. b4 i'm dropping the cash.

yea g he put like 6 in it right b4 doles, the stage 3 is only supposed to be like 325 but he rebuilt the whole clutch and all that and kinda gave him the shaft i believe but for just the mods and his normal work isnt supposed to be that much. honestly i would have told him not to do it if ida known it was that much but he had already paid him, said john called and said it needed this and that and blah blah so idk. lol  if normal price was 600 id keep my regular kit but if it was 325 like he said b4 then yea id prolly buy it because a clutch kit is 2 anyway. his clutch does great on the bottom end in low range and spins the tires with no strain but the top end didnt seem to be that much of a chang imo. he was happy tho cause he is more of a mudder type

So these VFJ kits are ok for big tires? Pretty big top end gains for big mud tires.

Its not a kit, he machines the clutch like adam harvey is doing for cats, but vfj has been doing it for alittle longer...
