Two week And counting till we are Texas bound for my first ever trip to mud nats, sorry I haven't been keeping you guys up to date, been beating **** outta this thing trying to make sure there arent any kinks when I get to Texas.
Little update:
Finally got my 8-18 bkts mounted up after a long search and lots of calls trying to find 18" wheel in arctic cat bolt pattern to match my hubs.. well for anyone else it may help save the trouble, Honda Accord wheels are 4x114.3 and as long as you don't have 12mm studs they will fit arctic cat 4x115 .
So got my wheels and tires on, loving the backing spacing on the car wheels, really tucked the bike in nice and narrow like I wanted. I'm very pleased with them.
Just as soon as I got the wheels and tires on I had just enough time to wire up my 4x4 selector so I could take the bike out of 4x4 and throw the 4.0 gears and all the brand new bearings and seals in the rear diff and off to a ride.
We where trying out a new park and man was it rough! Thick black mud with no bottom. Deep water in the creeks. All in all we had a Dang good day! Minus breaking my phone so i lost all my pics and videos.
The bike did really good pulling the 33 bkts in 2wd, couple time I had to lock it in and it put a struggle on the poor little 317.. that's to be expected though because I hadn't had time to get the 3.6s out and the 4.0s in up front before we left.
Fast forward to today's progress,
I've got the fenders prepped for the hydro dip. Should have the vat finished and them dipped this coming week.
The bike was striped to frame, sand blasted, all fab work ground down and cleaned up. Tried my best to get it all powder coated but the time crunch and the closest powder shop is 2 hrs and they couldn't get it done before mud nats. So it all got premiered , sprayed with car grade white with spray gun and 3 heavy coats of clear. Not going to last near as good as powder coat would have but that will have to wait till after mud nats.
I finished fiberglassing, bondo, sanding, bondo, sand , bondo,
And sanding some more the speaker pods for the front rack..
The Rock lights will be in this week and will be getting wired up.
It's all starting to come together thankfully.. just hope I can have it done and in good shape before it gets loaded on the trailer.
Wish I had more pics and videos, sorry guys

This is the air box lid dipped in the pattern that going on the fenders, was my first piece I ever dipped so it has its flaws but I like it
