Snorkel savers are the bomb keeps water out if it goes under

http://www.ehsracing.com/.oducts/snorkel_saver.htm

I put some on my grizzly last week and they worked really well. Small investment to protect your machine. All I did was rtv them in my snorkels cost was less than 50 for 4 of them

They are similar to SYA.C.  I would not recomend glueing them as you do have to take them out to clean them.  At least put them on an elbow or fitting if glued that can be taken off and blown out.

They work well for one dunk!  They then need to dry before tehy can be dunked again.  Once saturated water will pour right through.  But having that one dunk is HUGE insurance and well worth the investment.

These things sound great. But im sure there has to be some performance lost due to restricted air flow. I would think they would be fine on a small bore bike but on something like a brute force or a renegade 800 those things have to restrict the air flow reducing the power right???  I would love to have a set of these on my renegade if they dont restrict the air flow too much.

Haha funny. They DO NOT keep all the water out if you submerge the snorkes for even a few seconds. They are water repellant, not waterproof. They will even let a little water in from splashes also. Maybe they block 90% of a splash but 10% is still going in. I've been using them for 3 years. I like them but anyone thinking it makes you waterproof is wrong. They also don't block hardly any air as I've tested with and without them with a PCV+Autotuner.

i have the SYA ones and i have their snorkels as well for my 550. and i really liked the tips with the mesh in it espically when washing it. but when i took the tips out i gained more power i was supprised thats just my encounter with them so i run mine without them now

They dont keep all the water out but the do stop 99% of debris in the water from making it into the engine which is a major plus

Video doesnt say crap!!!!!!! Stick a vacum on the other end of that 90 and watch the water come through. Air box and belt intake are breathing in and they will pull the water through in a heart beat

I have em and always will. Like i said they will filter 99% of the water. I would much rather hace almost clean water goin into a motor then that shat water i ride in. After a dunk you can see how much sand and debris they stop. Heck i got 2 xtra ones in my glove box incase i tear one or both lol
