just bought a fan from universal parts inc. for my sp700.  the number on the back of the oem fan is va26-ap50/cwp-44a made by Spal. the fan i am replacing it with is a  spal 30102022  which is an exact fit so no need to change the blade , shroud or plug, but this is a high performance version of the oem fan and flows about 500 cfm more air.

anyone know where to get a factory looking worklight switch cheaper than 18.00 that Polaris wants? I found something close at autozone, but it sticks up higher than I'd like.

IF you have someone that can get parts from QB Quadboss.. I got a front diff bearings and seals in a kit and the two front strut bearings for the hubs for $65.00.. The front strut bearings were like $4.00 a piece.  they have tie rod end kits. ball joints.. they have the stuff and probobly cheaper then you can get anywhere else..
Keep your front wheels in the air.

Will the Chacago Rawhide 19630 work for the outputs on a '06 Sportsman 700 rear diff?  If not what will?  What about a seal for the input shaft?  I just searched this entire thread and didn't find anything.

Any one who needs a thermal fan switch to replace a 2000-2003 Polaris  4010161, just go to any auto parts store and ask for a switch for a nissan 84-88 Maxama or 86-89 Nissan Stanasa.

These as examples.

Back to the rear wheel bearnings fw143 for the sp 500 and so on.  I used a front wheel bearning from a 91 - 03 ford escort alot cheaper than a bearning shop...around 30 dollars.

Stater brushes can be replace aftermaket but here is a note if you need the brush with the bolt on it you can buy that at your local honda dealer PT#31201-KS5-901 about 15 dollars.

Great post.....

I have searched this form for the polaris part number 3233932 and found nothing so I assume it has not been crossed. This is the largest bearing inside the front diff on my 2002 Sportsman 700. The bearing has a number on it 6015C3. The OEM bearing in Canada runs about $240.

Canadian Bearing in Barrie Ontario 705 726-3030 sells the exact replacement as a 6015/C3 for $81.99.

Reliable Bearing in Mississauga 905 670-1055 sells a 6015DDC3 (same bearing but has seals that can be removed) for $45 ask for Fran.
I plan on picking up the one from Reliable and I will report back with my results.

Does anybody have an option for the front Strut/Wheel bearings for a 1995 Xplorer 400 4X4. The bearing number front Polaris is 3554509 and the cup is 3554507.

Thanks

Old Gray Hair

I have the same idea. I dont see why it wouldnt work. I did have the 800 single pipe on my old 2002 700 sportsman. On the 2005 sportsman I just dont think there is enough room on the left side for the pipe unless we would have to use 800 plastic.

on the dual exhaust on an 800 both pipes run down the right side.  that woujld be your right sitting on the four wheeler.  I dont think the plastics are cut diff on the 500 to the 800.

try Chicago Rawhide or SKF 19630.  if it doesnt work the Polaris rear axle seals are pretty cheap, too.  i also saw them on www.erlandsonperformance.com real cheap.

I didn't like the skf because they are little big and hard to install.  The skf ones are only a single lip seal vs the triple lip seal from polaris.  The polaris ones are about 9 dollars each.  Polaris size 50x68.95x8; skf 50x70x8.

What about wheel bearings on a 2008 Ranger crew? Pivot works has bearing for @ $54.95 for a pair. This is the number that is on the bearing: ZWBE-031. If anyone has a Timken or Bower bearing number please share it.

510013 bearing works on the rear of a Ranger Crew
NAPA #338 u-joint fits also and has a zerk fitting. When installing this joint be sure to put the zerk fitting toward the shaft. No need to unbolt the diff. just remove the emergency brake and cotter pin and slide the shaft back. The zerk fitting being toward the shaft will not hit the diff input shaft.
