How rough do Outlaw's ride?

I am thinking about getting some mud tires for a big bear and was wondering how rough the Outlaws ride on trails. I live for the mud but when I go out with my parents all we do is trails so I want a tire that will not beat me up thinking 26 or 27.or Do u guys have any other tire suggestions Thanks

Theya are rough belwow about 8 to 10 mph. Just depends on how much trails you ride compared to mud. Most of the mud tires are rough on the trails. You just cant get around it.

Lets put it this way, in wet conditions you will not notice them. On hard pack the will be ruff as heck at low speeds. You will want to have a second set of trail tires for when you run a lot of hard packed trails. The laws are a 100% mud tire and mainly that's all they are good for.

If you are looking for a excellent mudder that's good on trails get the Vamps because they ride smooth on hard pack at slow speeds, they climb well on slippery conditions, and they are a proven mudder. All the normal Vamps have 1.3" of tread and the wear like steel if you stay off paved roads. I run 27" vamps on my Vinson for almost 2 years now (mainly during the wet seasons and specific summer trail mud runs) and a month ago I bought a pair of 25x9.5-12 for my TRX 300 2x4 (pics are in my sig) and they work awesome for all arounders. I love them and the still impress me every time I ride with them on. I have tried laws, 589, gators, blackwaters and the Vamps are the only tire that I have tried that I don't have any major complaints about. I will say the Vamps ride kinda scary at speeds over 45 MPH because you have very limited surface area traction to the ground at the faster road speeds but I didn't buy them to drag race so I personally don't care. I usually just putt along at around 35 MPH with my 27" vamps on and they get me where I wan to go. If speed is a factor for you look at it this way, they might beat you to the mud hole but you will spank them when you get there because you will out perform all of the lighter tires of the same size in the mud if you have the right operator skills. The only tires that will compete with the Vamps are Laws, Zillas, and Bi-Tri claws. Hope this helps

they are pretty rough as slow speeds but seem to smooth out past 15.... but a lot of people never reach that if they are pure mudders

I agree with mud hunter69. The best thing anyone can do if they trail and mud is two sets of tires. I know money is rough just by a set then start saving again. or you can look at the bi/tri claws. I heard they pull good and ride ok on the trails.

    589's
    they where talking about vamps
    did you listen to them?
589's are good tires but not the best in the mud
they ride pretty good but if you are looking at 589's then i would suggest the mudlites they are lighter and they have basicly the same tread design only down side is they wear faster.....
