HMF Utility vs SuperTrapp Mudslinger

Ive got a 2007 420 Rancher and Im wantin to get an aftermarket exhaust pipe for it. Ive found a HMF Utility and a SuperTrapp Mudslinger for my 420. Whch would y'all recomend?

I know that Ill probably have to get an optimizer to get it runnin right, so which opt. would y'all recomend to go with the SuperTrapp? If I get the HMF, itll be from HL along with the Dobeck Gen 3.

Spend the extra $ and get the HMF. It has no packing to wear out, is better made and is as quiet as stock with a deeper tone. Both pipes are very close in performance gains only the Trapp has packing, is louder and is imo not as well put together. I do have to say the Trapp sounds pretty sweet, just my buddies wouldn't let me ride with them cuz they said it was too loud.  [:'(]  I have owned both pipes if that counts for anything.

My vote the HMF!!!  I have had a Supertrapp before not a Mudslinger just the old style & did not show me much.  Now the HMF along with jet woke up my old Rancher!!!  just my (2) cents!!![:)]

Ok, thanks for y'alls opinions. Ive been thinkin bout the HMF but Ive heard that people have had problems with their Dobeck opt. which has made me lean towards the Trapp. Have y'all had any problems with your optmizers?

Have you thought about the Swamp Series or do you just want a louder pipe? The swamper is a really solid built pipe and mine is all one piece while my trapp was 2 pieced and kept having exhaust leaks. The swamper is also stainless and is a lot better cuz it has no packing and a snork can be easily added. My trapp burnt up 2 of the arrestors also and it was properly jetted, the mesh is too thin of a gauge and clogs easily in muddy water.

Not sure but they must make one I would think. A TON of people have the 420's and they would really be missing a good market share if others make pipes for them. Try HMF directly, there is contact info on their homepage.
