if you have big tires that will effect the speedo. And on what type of terran did you hit this because not a all bikes will go over 100 k in really loose gravel.

56 seems kind of slow you must have some oversized tires on it. with over sized ones on my brute it threw it off about 10-12mph.

Ok, first off, I own a Grizzly 660.  I love it, I live in canada, We get cold weather ( oviously) and warm weather, I find that the Grizz HATES the warm. The way the fairings are, it dont let out enough heat. So when the engines really hot, I find I lose a lot of top end out of her.  on the highway in winter I can do 64-65 M.P.H. easily. summer, not so much.

it will also depend on your altitude and different air pressure. bikes run different speeds depending on them.

It really all depends on how long you are willing to hold on. I hit 65 mph with 30" tires. It did however take me a good mile on highway 53 to do this.. And doing that is one of the main reasons my Grizzly 660 is for sale....... I am looking for a side by side, I have either too much guts or not enough brains for this machine..........

Looks like the 700 is not any faster guys.  I am getting around those same speeds.  I Get there real quick but then its like hitting a brick wall.  so far had it to 61 on an extemly loose freshly laid gravel rode.  Gets a little squirrly at those speeds.  Those marbles slide out from under those tires.  This is iwth 26 inch xtr's.

it has been probably a month since i had it in water, and i drained my belt housing right after i did it. I took off the cover for the housing and everything was dry and dirty, kind of dark grey inside of there, so i dont know what the deal is, i just want the top end back. I am sick of gettin beat by a rincon.

How is your tire pressure?? Thats a MAJOR factor also.  if your running to low of a pressure, your use more resistance to the bike.  Then it wont go as fast top end.

I havent checked my pressure lately, i will have to do that. But i still dont think thats it. Do you think it would have anything to do with the clutch weights?? Or anything else?

Pull your primary pulley apart and service it then.

mine straight from the factory would go about 63.  I got the primary pulley full of mud and took it apart and cleaned it and regreased it.  After that, while still all factory, I could run 68 all day.
