i think the folgers can is a great idea. i spent over $200 on my HMF and im still gonna make one and put it on my foreman. i love these crazy little ideas. where do you think of new inventions come from. Decca Records saidthis about the Beatles "We dont like their sound. Groups of guitars are on their way out." This company rejected the Beatles in 1962. The Beatles!!! Just cuz one person dont like it dont shot them down. You never know where they will go next.

right on man, strapping a folgers can on your bike is way better than laying on the couch all day. dont let these fools get you down. maybe they should get off there a's and do something other than bash you, or maybe just run out and buy the most expensive "new" thing that gives you more power.

BTW this mod ranks right up there with flashing leds, both are useless but still cool

some people just need to relax and have a cup or two weve all done stuff for grins when i was a lad i had a riding lawnmower for a gokart up here in mn we kinda poor but anyway i saved my alowwance for a couple of wweks and went to the hard ware store and bought lots of threaded 1 inch pipe and fittings and put duel exaust on my kart and it didnt add any power but was differnt and it sounded kinda cool
why bash on a guy for trying differnt things maybe you bashers should get off the computer and try something yourself like colering the letters on your tires

OK, this is an exact quote from the SuperTrapp website (on the "technology" page):

"Removing discs decreases the exhaust opening and increases backpressure. This effectively decreases the powerband to create more low-end torque. It also decreases exhaust tone and enriches carburetion.

Adding discs increases the exhaust outlet and decreases back pressure. This widens the powerband at the top end. It also increases exhaust tone and leans out carburetion."

Sorry to quote a quote but if  am reading this right then the coffee can mod would be like adding discs therefore DECREASING the back pressure and adding more power to the top end.
This would take away from your low end and you should take away what to increase the backpressure.

KInda seems backwards to me.

I can see how it could work, but won't have too great of an effect.

I just eat a ton of beans before riding for that little extra boost in power. Maybe I need to mount a cigarrette lighter on the rear rack and I could have a full-on afterburner.[:D]

These things work great and easy to fine tune. All you have to do is drill a few holes to set the back pressure that you want. Drill em in the bottom though so that the water will drain in deep water.

To all thoise bashers... relax, breathe in and...... have a zip of Sam's Choice cofee.

Ok seriously the mod looks silly but there is no reason to rwat the kid that way. How many of you have thought of crazy ideas just to make something look cooler? We have done this at one point in our lives and bashing it is simply childish no matter how bad you think the idea is.
