3TV Some of you folks have some real serious street machines. Very impressive. I've got a mostly stock 2008 Challenger, with long tube headers, high flow cats, and a Magnaflow comp series exhaust. Here is a video of a top speed run. At the very very end of the video the car had hit its top speed of 165 mph. thecar the motor the intake Its just a mild 408. 12.5:1, Meaux Stage III ls6s, FMS 259/267 .705/.702 solid roller, T&D 1.7s, FMS ported LSX intake plumbed w/ the NX direct port w/ the 300 pills, Rossler TH400 w/ ATI converter setup for a shot. A/C and P/S still on the car. Gunna outfit it w/ a 9" aluminum center section, 40 spline axles, spool, w/ some 3.89s and a 29" tire. Hoping for some mid/low 10 second hits on motor and I'll pill it till I kill it if I can't get 9.0s. It should COME ALIVE on the kit... its not setup to run on motor @ all. Should be a BEAST on the street w/ the nitrous converter.

Thats crazy. Ive hit about 105-110 in my Z before and let out because I didnt wanna die. Im sure the smaller 2wd rcsb handles much better tho.

every time i get into reading threads about lightnings or F150 harley editions, it just makes me drool......... i had a "deal" worked for a lightning but the guy backed out...... i was wanting to trade my jacked up F250 ( http://www.team-mudd-racing.com/team-mudd-evolution/DSC05274.JPG ) for a lightning...... checked each others trucks out, both mechanically sound, deal was looking good, till the guys wife didn't like the ride or climbing in and out of a jacked up F250....DAM........ well it was all good since MY wife said before you jump gun, we do have 4 kids we need to haul around every so often........can't do that with a reg cab lightning....... BUT a F150 harley, yes sir......LOL it wouldn't be the fastest, but i'd want to make it a good street strip truck. yall have some good looking/running vehicles!

I remember the first time I almost got outran by a truck... it was a 94ish silverado w/ a procharger. man that thing was pretty fast... it was a high 13 second truck.... possibly faster if he would have had a set of slicks or just any decent tire to hook it up. I'de get him outa the gate and he'de start catching me around 45 and I'de starting pulling off from him around 75-80. Impressed the heck out of me as a 15 year old kid that had one of the fastest cars around(even though it was stock it was still pretty tuff on the street for around here back in 99-2000)

At the Byram track, where my truck runs a 9 flat, I was told that a mostly stock Harley Davidson F150 (S/C) ran an 8.3 which is fast for a truck but isnt as impressive as I thought. If it was tuned it would run a lot better though.

I would expect so if it runs 9.0s in the 1/8th in that big hunk of lead! I'm trying to remember but I believe my duramax ran something like a 9.80 1/8 and a 15.20 1/4.... I'de have to find the slips... its been a while now.

I called myself an idiot for doing it, I have video of the truck running the 1/4 mile time. It was not on the stock goodyears/firestones, but mere stock tire (BFG t/a radial). I would highly recommend comparing your z71 to something more appropiate then a sub 12 second vehicle. And to add to it and a reference you shoudl respect, tan327 and myself earned a lot of credit from the tryed and trusted guys over at performancetrucks.net for doing what we did with out two trucks (not doing insane speeds on the freeway).
