Custom Shift Knob

I found an awesome shift knob that I was wanting to throw onto the quad.  It come in two styles.  The first is the crappy kind with set screws and such that can strip the threads.  Do you think these would hold up on an atv?  The second style has adjustable inserts.  It says it will fit metric threads M14, M10, and M8 and anything with a 1.25 Thread pitch.  I was hoping someone here has an idea of what thread type was on the shifter.  Never had mine off yet and I'm away from home.

Mcfly- My buddy has a prairie set up just like yours. He's been doing XC racing and GNCC racing with it. But anyways, in your avatar, i have the exact same picture of his bike. I actually thought it was his at first.

The shifter looks pretty good though.. My brother has the same one I believe

I bought mine on ebay. I got a bolt that fit it and cut the end off. Drilled and tapped the center , added a jam nut and walahh. Makes you thirsty while riding though. Might be hard to see in the picture.
