I've broke over ten belts in the last year. i've had OEM and dayco belts and niether one is better than the other. if anyone has found a belt that will hold up please let me no, im tired of replacing them. i put the mudders style clutch kit in mine thinking that would save my belts but doesnt work, i need help!!!

If you do alot of trail ridding, you need to remove the mudder clutch kit. and get a stiffer secondary spring. I had the mudder kit in my teryx and I was blowing out belts about every third ride. they dont work good for big tires and trail riding.

Our new super tough 3GX is the best belt money will buy. I have written in-depth reasons why this is true right here on the Kawasaki Section of this forum. A search should find my info on this belt. I also invite you to call me at (800) 699-0947, ext. 6038 for an explanation as to the features and how they turn into user benefits.

i do alot of mud riding, it was breaking belts since i've had this thing tho. i had a programmer on it but the kawasaki place took it off when i put a new wiring harness, ignition coils and cdi on it cuz all of that was fried. so i put the clutch kit on it to help since i didnt have the programmer.

The back to the future belt is top notch. One point twenty one jigawats of unbriadled power between your loins and ravenging your sphincter.

hook your programmer back up would be one of my suggestions then i would also go back to your dealer who put in the clutch kit and ask them what they did cause obvioulsy they installed the wrong springs or did not check your belt deflection.. I ride some of the nastiest mud seen and have only been through 3 belts in 4yrs on brute and that mud racing, mud drags, and water racing on top of all that hitting every trail and mud hole i see so to me someone has set your bike up to FAIL!!!!!!

i was breaking belts from the day i got it. the guy that did the clutch kit use to work at a dealer but they shut down and he opened his own shop. i bought the kit and took to him and he put all of it in. im thinkin of just cleaning it up and tryin to sell and either go back to a honda or get a rzr!! if i knew how to work on this bike myself, i would but its too electronic for me. i stopped dealing with the dealer i bought it from cuz i felt like they were srewing me. the clutch kit is the only thing this guy has done for me and he is a certified kawi and honda tech.

When you put your bike in gear do you hear a slight squeal of the belt? I bet you need to remove a shim and you won't have anymore trouble.

there is no noise or anything. it has never smoked the belt or anything. the belts just shed to pieces. i thought maybe they were getting wet so i snorkeled the four wheeler and its still doing it and there is no water at all getting in the belt housing.
