I dont think im gonna ruin this one like i did my 700 lol, probably just some 28's or 29.5s, 2'' front lift, and maybe stealth snorkels, no exhaust or junk like that...

Anyone know if the black ITP steel wheels have more offset than the stock ones? I might run those with 28x9.5 Laws...

yes i used to have the itp steel wheels n they had more offset. but 28x10 silverbacks still hit the front struts. had to put spacers on the front for them to clear. outlaws may be different tho

GWC, I've heard other people say this, but I am almost positive 28x9.5 Outlaw will be too wide to fit on factory wheels without spacers. I know my EDL's rubbed without spacers, so unless the 28x9.5 Laws are less than 8 inches wide, they won't fit with factory wheels. That's on the two old 500's we have, but I don't think the tie-rod/strut clearance has changed much.

That's on the two old 500's we have, but I don't think the tie-rod/strut clearance has changed much. When i had my sp700 i got that info from HL themsevles so thats why i say it, they told me that is why they went to the 28/ 9" tire was so it would clear the struts and tie rods on stock wheels and this is why they have 2 sizes of 28s for the front. I bought the 28/10.5s and had to get after market wheels to clear them. also why his 29/10s clear because they are not a true 10" wide more like "9" inches wide..

This must be for the newer models then. My 500 will not clear even the EDL's with factory rims. It's close, but its just enough to rub the tie rods. And we all know how skinny the EDL's are. I run aftermarket rims and 1.5 inch spacers, and there is a comfortable amount of space with the 29.5x10's.
