650 Rincon rear axle removal HELP

I have a rear differential that I'm trying to get the axles out of to sell to a member on here and i can't get them out. My question is, is there something special to removing axles from the rear diff on a Rincon. I don't need the response just jerk on them. I have tied the diff to a post at my dads shed and hooked my truck to it and have ben breaking wires and tie straps just jerking on it, and i have parted out many bikes and never had one like this. I have already broke one axle at the cup by trying to drive wedges beside it.

Bikes
07 400 Big Bear
08 650 Prowler
09 Polaris Sportsman 90
I part bikes out on the side and have between 40-50 bikes on average. Feel free to ask me about parts if you need something.

There is a snap ring on the inside.  you need to place a pry bar between cv and the diff GENTLY PRY and then a pry bar between the bottom of frame and cv and bounce the bottom pry bar and then the other pry gently and all this while slowly spinning the opposite tire so the axle spins..  all your trying to do find the small gap in the snap ring and it will pop right out. hope this helps.

I had this same problem, i had to leave for work and my dad messed with it he ended up busting the diff around the seal which some jb weld will fix but it also broke the gear in half that the axles run in... the opposite side ended up coming out with a single tap from a hammer bolt through the inside of the diff... try and get a slide hammer and get it clamped on there some how

Good luck. I could never get mine out, they got seized in the differential. Any time I had to remove an axle I would dismantle the inboard CV joint and leave the cup in the diff.

ok everyone, i was having the same difficulties this past week.  the post from gmc was from my thread, i had the most difficult time getting it out, what i ended up doing was dropping the subframe and completely pulling the rearend out and taking it to a local shop who  put it in a vise and spot welded a slide hammer to the axle cup and wham, one or two whacks and out, the other side i used  a 1/2" socket and extension as a punch, sprayed a small amount of wd40 and whack it came out in about 3 smacks.   when pulling out the axle do not pry on the diff, i did and i had to buy a new left side rearend housing and oil seal, (put it together this morning)   what you are trying to accomplish is a sudden jerk on the axle to pull the keeper ring out of the splines of the center of the ring gear.  i hope this helps, the shop only charged me 20 bucks so it was well worth it,

Oh and by the way, on r i n c o n riders . c o m (no spaces) i posted a thread about this and the guys were very well informed and very helpful, obviously by the title the site is dedicated to rincons, so if you own one, and  by chance you cannot find an answer on here about it , surely it will be on the other forum, nothing at all against highlifter,  but that site is just specialized to help rincon owners.

No need to disassemble, no need to weld, no need to rip the bike apart.  Just use the proper tool on the inner CV joint and the axle will pop out easily every time.  Here is what you guys should be using.
