You'll probably want to kiss your floorboards goodbye to start.

Im not sure about the newer ones, but the older ones did.
why not just go with 29.5's? it'll never spin 32's efficiantly

when did the older ones get a low gear????? I wish my 99 scrambler had a low gear. I am not sure how you are going to spin 32s when the bike came with 22s?

No, the Scrammy's never came with a low gear.  On the older ones, people would swap the tranny from an Explorer in them.  I don't know what you could on the new ones...maybe somehow swap a tranny from a 500 Sportsman???

did they redesign the Scrammy?  If not you can still swap the tranny for a Xplorer unit.  And you would HAVE to do that.  The high range only would make that thing a ****

gonna re open this thread. i just bought tonight a 99 scrammy with huge custom fabed pipe sounds like a HMF X2 and primary and secondary reductions. along with a bunch of work in the motor. and in swamps and boggy stuff the guys there says itl turn 25s over and thats as big as you wanna go. he put 27s on it and went thru 3 belts i think 32s would tear it apart it water. if you could so all the work above and have low gear then possibly

Men Dont get lost, they just simply take unexplored routes in alternate directions.

I think the trans out of a 99 300 explorer will bolt right in and it has low. A friend has one and ive looked it over pretty hard it seems to me it has the same case just not the extra stuff for the low. If i could find a good used one i would try it.
