I have had issues breaking my turner axles off in the front diff. I was also wondering if maybe 31's would be more forgiving

31s are much more forgiving but won't pull as well. I think u would be happier on 28x11x14 ol2s

To the original poster 29.5 ol2s in s/w are a great smooth riding setup and I'm a big fan go them. But the 32 silverback is still the king of the heap and if u want all out performance thats your best bet.

Ive had 32s on my XMR for 1 year now. Ive never broken a single thing on it regarding tires, traction, or throttle.

Now my winch is a different story. I recently learned a valuable lesson to always use a spotter while winching. That way he/she can spot stuff being damaged from the winch BEFORE it happens. LMAO

i still say 32's pull harder than any tire out there.  just use throttle control

32's pull way harder than 31's or the 29.5OL2. I've had all 3 and I like to stay in the middle with the 31's. Now I just have to get a set for the brute...
