2011 Mud Pro 1000 **PROBLEMS** NEED HELP

Ok so i just purchased a new 2011 MP 1000 and am running 30" Gorrilla Silver Backs, it has a HMF pipe and a Speedwerx clutch kit. It has 101 miles and has never made it home a trip.
1st issue was at 6mi the right cv axle fell out of the diff and then later snapped that ride
2nd issue was the actuator was engaging and dis-engaging when ever it felt like
3rd front diff exploded
and now the most recent is the crank cases have cracked in the area of the tranny.
This has all happened in a matter of 101 miles and 4 weeks. Also i am not bagging the **** out of this bike lol
Are these things that bad and also how do i fix theses problems to make it stronger?

    wow... i mean WOW.

even if you were an aggressive rider that is just plain redonkulous!

i would take it back to where you got it from and theel them to replace it or suck it.  that that mileage clearly you couldnt have done all that damage if you tried!

Trade it in for a smaller cc machine that has the same drive train. 400-1000's have the same diffs etc. Less power but more dependability trade off.

my guess would be the breakage on #2 and #3 was due to failure #1 = diff contamination.

make them fix everything, trade the backs for some skinny laws and go do work on it.

there is no reason that bike will not do everything you ask it to if you ride it correctly

I have read a lot of topics on AC forum here. I see a lot of troubles with diffs and axles... but all of them are on 30' or biger wheels. here's point.

I wonder how long can we ride on stock tires without brokening???
this week I bought new RDC front diff cover, housing-gearcase, flange. I will have parts next two weeks and going to mount it.. I ride stock tires and hope to have no problems!!

I had 30" backs for a while broke 6+ axles fronts and backs and two front diffs along with a bunch of other stuff(not enough space to mention)..I put 28"backs on and not one axle or diff broke since...that should tell you something right there...i go places where 30" 31" and 32" go and i go places where most people do not try to go i ride my bike like a sport quad anyone who knows me can testify to that i LOVE SPEED but thats the way i roll my bike serves as part of my stress release for that reason it cost me a lot to ride cause i constantly push the bar and that is exspensive...you do not need HUGE tires to go deep or go anywhere for that matter HUGE tires are more stress on every thing on the bike its pointless really i have watched these bikes become flat trail queen loud stereo DONKS the past couple of years that have trouble pulling out of the parking lot let alone a mud hole...i am not haten at all each to there own half the group i ride with has the stuff i just mentioned if you want to stop breaking stuff put smaller tires on it other wise plan on seeing your dealler a lot more and plan on spending more money on broken stuff..across the board every axle has a weight and tire size limit...hope this helps you peace..

I alson have a 2011 Mud Pro 1000, 2 main things that happened to me.  (1)I had my actuator go on me, did the same as it did to you except after about 1 min of doing that than I was a 2WD; it was full of water, (2)my starter was a bad one, had a dead short, (3)plus I keep losing coolant, don't know if the t-stat is bad or if its a weak breaker/fuse, but it ticks me off that when I hammer down and than look once I'm stopped for a minute and there is coolant all over my cv boots and clutch cover, don't know what to do about it, still waiting to get an appointment to bring my quad in for after break in tune up and I'll get it checked out than

Your coolant issue really sounds like a head gasket is blown. You are pressurizing your coolant system with hot combustion gases. Not that big of a deal to repair, but no matter how hard the job is it still needs to get done asap.

That don't sound good 101 miles. Might wanna think about giving it back. I had a Polaris like that and a Grizzly. Some times a bike just has problems that are out of our control :D

I have a 2010 MP 1000 and my issue is going out for a ride wit the kids and coming back home, shutting it down and the battery is weak and WONT start back up..... Local arctic cat says there might be a short somewhere.. Thought it might be the alternator but it stays on for as long as i ride it...
Second issue is coolant shooting out the weep hole.. could that be just the waterpump??? I took it apart and changed the one o ring seal with no luck...
The code i get a lot is PO562 "system Voltage low"   any insights????

Dang man thats wild to have that many problems.  I agree with sixohh that something had to be wrong with the front diff.  As far as the cracked case that just had to be a bad case.  Also if you haven't done anything to the sld that could cause a lot more strain on the front drivetrain.  Idk if your dealer would look over a welded sld or not.

WOW! Stuff like that would make someone reconsider their choice of hobby, huh? I deff agree your ride had issues to begin with, but also that the tire size could contribute to the ongoing problems!! Good luck
