07 silverado New body style

Within the next couple of weeks im going to buy a 07 new body style z71.  And Im not goiing to do much to it, but i do want it to sit level.  Now my next question is, at most all the tire i will ever put on with be a 33x12.50 in the future.  What size level kit would i need just for it to sit level if not just a hair over level.. Now i dont want the tail gate dragging the dirt and the headlights pointing in the trees. But just level.

And is that level kit something i can put on, or would it need to have somebody to compress the springs and shocks to put in..  Im new to all this and use to the torsion keys.

Thanks

I set mine up for looks and the fish LOVE IT !!!!

I have a 2010 with a 2" leveling kit and 33" nitto trail grapplers. The tires don't rub at all and the truck looks a whole lot better now.

A 2.5" spacer will make your truck sit level to slightly higher in the front depending on the individual truck and how much the springs have settled. This is also the largest leveling kit I would run - any higher and your start running into premature wear issues on suspension components. I personally used the readylift 2.25" kit on my 09 sierra and IMO it sat just about perfect.

i was kina thinking about the 2.5 inch lift.. Gotta do everything in steps.  But it's gotta have a level front, can't stand the nose dragging the ground.  I'm trying to figure out what kind of grill guard i want.  Price is a key factor there also.  It's a red truck, so i'm thinking a black one, i like the look of the ranch hand, but i know they are not cheep.  So i dont know

All I currently have on mine is the Super lift Level-It kit. Installed when the truck was 1 day old and helped the looks so much. Mine has always sat higher than most leveled trucks around here. But the kit was a "prototype" kit that we had at the shop that were left over from testing or something. But the Super Lift ones still sit great. Nothing is strained or stressed. And it is not a cheap bracket that goes on the bottom of the strut. I know the knock off kits have had issues in the past so I would stay far away from them. But I have also not installed a lift or level kit in two years now so they might have improved off someone else's designs after a patent loss.
I was able to run up to a 33.5-11.75-18 on mine. Only rub was the sway bar because I was on stock off set.
Anyway here is how mine looks.

From installing them on a daily basis my personal favorite is the ready lift. The quality is second to none, even though its just a spacer. No special tools by the way, just unbolt the strut from the top and bottom and add the spacer(s). Trick to getting them back on is to pop the little clips that attach the nut to the bottom of the strut with a screwdriver. That way you just spin them on and dont have to fight with lining the threads up.  Should make a little more since when your looking at it

I have the 2.5" top gun customz level. I love it, its a 2" bottom strut spacer and a .5" top spacer, no cutting or special tools envolved. The CCM makes you cut your upper strut bolts. I installed mine in about 1 hour. Mine sits dead level at 39 1/4" fender height at all four corners on stock 275/55/20s. Here's a few pics of mine.

Nah.  It only goes to 4 cyl only when it can.  And thats usually when your on level staight road not accelerating.  The only thing I found I hate about the AFM is with loud exhaust it sounds funny when it kicks into goes into 4 cylinder mode, lol

There are several tuners out there that can turn the afm off. It is actually better on your motor having it turned off. Gm has a known problem with motors burning oil because of afm.
